Jeffrey Gitomer has made quite a name for himself as a sales guru with his numerous little books and the indisputable “Bible“, but many of his readers don’t realize that much of his teachings are available to you for free. Thats right F-R-E-E, free! Biz Journals has a complete archive of his weekly column, Sales Moves, dating all the way back to 1996. Holy crap thats nice!

A Few Helpful Business Articles for Graphic Designers

Over the weekend I was making a list of management tools for design studios to use (that is to come later). At one particular software site, Creative Manager Pro, I happily stumbled upon some business articles that look very useful. Reading: Talent is Not Enough

I have been sent a copy of Shel Perkins new book, Talent is Not Enough: Business Secrets for Designers. I’ve read the first 4 chapters in a few hours and I can easily say that I can’t put it down. It is by far, one of the best, if not the best, graphic design business book I have read. The writing is very straight-forward and the charts he uses to describe some of the best practices are easily comprehensible. I’ll be giving a full report as soon as I have completed reading it.
