My friend back from my BD4D days, Patrick O’Brien, has ALS also know as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Instead of sitting back and doing nothing, Patrick has charged forward and created his own non-profit organization that is actively looking for a cure to this horrible disease, the Patrick O’Brien Foundation.

It seems the older I get the harder it becomes to stay inspired. One thing that has always been a terrific motivator for me is movies. Here is a list of my favorites that I tend to keep in rotation in my DVD player and on my computer.

mediabistro.com has a great new series called Sales Rants in which an anonymous veteran of the media industry answers user submitted questions and blabs on about the plight of his own employer.

The Fast Company Blog has a post on a game you can play in your boring business meetings to keep you from falling asleep. I think I just might try this later this week and show my score card here on GD. Enjoy!

JWT produces a video series called Fresh Market, that focuses on the hottest trends in alternative advertising from around the world. JWT Chuco has been kind enough to share all 12 videos from the past year with GD readers. Each one is about 5 minutes long and provides a powerful punch of imagery over a very motivational club beat.
