Wooster on Spring
The Wooster Collective invited many of their fellow graffiti and cultural artists to beautify the building at 11 Spring St. in NYC before it is torn down to make way for a high-rise. PSFK has a video walk through of the space and their are various pics up on Flickr as well. I have not gotten the chance to head down there but hope to make it out this weekend. There is some absolutely brilliant work there.
Advice from Milton Glaser
I was browsing around last night and came across Milton Glaser’s Ten Things I Have Learned, part of an AIGA Talk he did in London (which sounds funny for me to hear since AIGA is an American institution). The essay is a beautiful testament to the wealth of knowledge and advice that Mr. Glaser has to share with all of us through his decades of experience in the graphic design industry. Personally, aside from Steven Heller’s contributions to the industry, I can’t think of another designer who has influenced me more through his writings and presentations.
