Happy new year to all Graphic Define readers! Its been a great 2006 and I really want to thank you all for your warm words of encouragement over the year. With that said, I promise that 2007 is going to be even better for Graphic Define and its readers!

I had the wonderful pleasure of speaking at Internetics in Bucharest, Romania late last month. My presentation was Helpful Tips on Running Your Creative Studio. In hindsight, its really an adaptation of my FlashForward talk that was catered to the problems and needs of the design community in Romania.

All in all, the presentation and the trip were something that I will never forget. My hosts from Millennium Communications were extremely helpful and accomodating to my needs and schedule. The attendees were very appreciative of my “outsiders point of view” and I think they were also very pleased to hear that they are catching up to the design standards of the rest of the world very quickly. I met some wonderful designers such as Biris from Web Design 2.0, Ruxandra from aRond, Bogdan from WebStyler, and Stefan from X3 Studios.

If you ever get the chance to go to Romania, on business or pleasure, I highly recommend you make the trip! I would go again in a heart beat.

I’ve had a bit of an “online blackout” since I returned from speaking at FlashForward two weeks ago.

I left The Chopping Block two weeks ago to spend more time doing what I love, with people I love.

It has been a crazy few weeks and I know I have neglected the blog. I always hate to read posts like this one on other people’s blogs but i feel i must share with you what I have been up to. Here is the complete run down!
