Adobe has launched the Motion Center, a new section of their website that concentrates on showcasing, sharing and exploring the motion design possibilities available through Flash and Adobe’s Suite of graphics software. I haven’t had a chance to thumb through the tutorials or articles yet but it seems to be a good starting collection of information on this continually expanding medium. Also, a little birdie told me that there may be a Chopping Block design showcased on the site pretty soon as well!

We presented at Flash Forward 2005 NYC this week.

When Carson was in town two summers ago for a BD4D event I was curating we discussed many of our ambitions and ideas that we’d like to pursue. He shared with me his desire to take BD4D to the next level, and thus a year later Carson Workshops was formed.

I am really enjoying the writings of Ellen Lupton and Abbott Miller on graphic design. As the website states, their intention is to revive their own “extra-curricular, quasi-underground spirit” of collaboration “on experimental projects that merge theory and practice, writing and designing”.
