Sales Rants Column at Media Bistro July 6, 2006
mediabistro.com has a great new series called Sales Rants in which an anonymous veteran of the media industry answers user submitted questions and blabs on about the plight of his own employer. At first I thought it was a bit lame but the column does bring up some excellent points on compensation, the sales process, and everything else about the media industry that deserves a swift kick in the arse.
It may be all tongue-in-cheek, but I feel that it is a good read to understand the innards of the media industry, especially the publishing world. A must read for any designer working with media clients.
